About the role 


We are strengthening our Project management function and are looking for a Senior Project leader to join us at Vaccibody. This is a unique opportunity to become part of our rapidly growing, exciting and dedicated Vaccibody team - allowing you to gain knowledge from and contribute to strategic drug development projects at one of Scandinavia´s leading Biotech companies.

 

As a Senior Project Leader at Vaccibody you will become part of a small PM team responsible for leading strategic development projects, implementation of project tools and portfolio management and you will establish and lead project teams as well as plan, execute and report on projects. Moreover, you will:


  • Be responsible for leading strategic drug development projects, building project strategies and plans 
  • Produce high-quality, timely deliverables and strong continuous drive within projects 
  • Proactively build our Vaccibody team, ensuring that our culture is aligned with people´s values and foster a work environment where people thrive at work 
  • You inspire and motivate across cross functional project teams at Vaccibody, and enjoy working in international environments 
  • Actively take part in strengthening the project-driven organization and implementation of project tools 
  • Responsible for establishing, communicate, and execute on project plans resulting in achievement of project goals 
  • Track and report on the agreed project plans including timelines, risk management, budget and resource estimates 
  • Ensure together with Line Management that work is performed in accordance with current guidelines and Vaccibody’s quality assurance system 
  • The role may also include collaboration and involvement with external collaboration partners 

Key qualifications:

  • MSc within medical, biological, pharmaceutical science or equivalent  
  • Minimum 10 years experience with global drug development 
  • Minimum 5 years experience from similar roles within project management/leadership 
  • Experience with early-stage clinical development is an advantage
  • You can lead, motivate and inspire teams to excel in a high performance culture 
  • You have the ability to adapt quickly, you can manage and handle multiple projects, prioritise work, and meet deadlines in a timely manner 
  • Work independently, excellent at planning and not afraid of taking responsibility 
  • Experience from Global/International companies is an advantage
  • You are organized, communicate in an easy and engaging way and understand the importance of stakeholder management. You thrive in an agile working environment, and can focus during hectic times 
  • Fluent in English and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing 


The role will report to our Project director.


Location: The candidate can be positioned in Forskningsparken/Oslo Science Park, or the Medicon Valley region of Copenhagen/Malmo.
